CompuTax 2017-18 :: update v 8.0 released

CompuTax 2017 update v 17.*.8.0  released.

Income Tax

• Schema changes as per Dept's new Schema.
• Section 234-A calculation as per new Due Date (5th Aug)
• Billing : New column 'Terms & conditions' for Invoicing in Billing --> 'Master-Companies'.

IMPORTANT NOTE :

• Before Migrating the DATA, make sure that AYr.2016-17 is updated to version 16.*.9.6 and  New AY.2017-18 ver 8.0 is Installed.

• Once Migration is completed successfully, Login to the s/w as 'Admin' & please send 'License Request' from 'ADMIN' menu with all correct details. 

• CUBIC SYSTEMS will send back the valid License file ‘License_*-Ay2017-18.clc’  on the eMail Id given, after receiving the request. Kindly Note that the extension of the New license file mailed from our side will be ‘.clc’

CompuTax 2017 update v 17.*.7.1  released.

Income Tax

• 234-C calculation corrected in case of only Special Income & if Surcharge is applicable
• Sch.AL : Missing movable Items, if ITR-4, fixed.

IMPORTANT NOTE :

• Before Migrating the DATA, make sure that AYr.2016-17 is updated to version 16.*.9.6 and  New AY.2017-18 ver 7.1 is Installed.

• Once Migration is completed successfully, Login to the s/w as 'Admin' & please send 'License Request' from 'ADMIN' menu with all correct details.

• ePayment of Challan link changed as per Dept's changes.
• Fine tuning of eFiling to upload XMLs faster.
• Billing : New Field  'Service Head' added  in 'Master-Bill Items',  from where it is picked up in Billing.

ERROR while Saving Client Master

IMPORTANT NOTE : 

If the ERROR  "[Forms Error] cmbS115H" occurs while creating and SAVING a NEW CLIENT, 

the USERS are kindly requested to select "Yes" or "No" in the column 'Benefit u/s 115H'  of the 'Return' tab page  and then try SAVING it.  Will change to select "NO" automatically in the next version.

Income Tax

• XML SCHEMAs of all ITR's updated as per Dept.changes. 
• 3CA/3CB XMLs changed as per new SCHEMA.
• GSTI incorporated in BILLING module
• GSTIN updated to take 15th string as Character/Numeric

 

IMPORTANT NOTE :

• Since there are changes in all ITR schemas, all users are requested to generate the XML once again before uploading the XML.

All ITR Schemas changed by Dept. (ITRs 1 to 7)

IMPORTANT NOTE : 

SCHEMA of  all ITRs  (ITR 1 to 7) has been changed by the Dept. on 14th July. You may get an "Invalid XML file" ERROR message for all the uploads. Kindly stop UPLOADING XML files for a couple of Days.  SORRY for the inconvenience.

New updated version with SCHEMA changes will be released soon.

• BILLING module incorporated with GST columns.
  (Kindly Feed the Default Items with SAC Codes in : Billing -> 'Master-Bill Items' & Save. [These Items will pop-up automatically while creating the Bill] )
   (Kindly Feed the Firm's GSTIN in : Billing -> 'Master-Companies' & Save)
   (Kindly Feed the Assessee's GSTIN in : Masters -> 'Clients' --> 'Miscellaneous' tab page   & Save)
  
• HOW TO OPEN S/W HELP ?
  The s/w Help for 2017-18 can be opened by Double clicking on 'Cubic Systems Apps' icon. Once opened, click on 'Start' and then click on 'CompuTax 2017-18' and further click on '2017-18 Help'. From there you may select the respective topics.
  
• Help for Sub-Status of ITR-5.
  1 .Start the s/w HELP for 2017-18
  2. Click on topic 'CompuTax (Income Tax)' --> Select topic 'IT Codes for eFiling' and further select 'IT Codes for eFiling - Master Items'
  3. Here you can find the SUB-STATUS codes for ITR-5
