CompuTax 2013-14 :: update v 2.3

CompuTax 2013 update v 13.*.2.3  released.

• ITR 7 physical Form is released (Xml will be released soon)
  (New Data entry items for Trust can be done at "Annexures" --> Misc.Others --> "Foreign Assets / Trusts / SofI notes" ==> Trust page & the Master Items in "Masters" --> "General Info")
• 26AS format has been changed again by the Dept., so import in s/w was not possible,  Now we have fixed it in this version.(Entries in Negative Figures are NOT Imported by the s/w, so Delete the corresponding entries / figures accordingly, if any, after Importing)
  (ITR 6 xml is not yet released by the Dept)
• Country Code Help is available in 2013-14 Help file under category CompuTax (Income Tax)
  
• eTds
  In eTds, Import excel file of Challans & Deductees are possible now, as per the latest fvu.
  ( Users who want to use eTds for 2012-13 should start CompuTax 2013-14 and then from the File panel given on the right side, should select 2012-13 under "Select Working Year" option and then continue normally.)
• NOTES :
• New Schedule 5A can be fed from Annexures -> Misc (Others) --> Foreign Assets, List etc --> Foreign Assets.   
• New Schedule FA (Srl.A to F) can be fed from Annexures -> Misc (Others) --> Foreign Assets, List etc --> Foreign Assets.
• New Schedule AL can be fed from Annexures -> B & P --> FA (IT Format) -->              Assets & Liab. 
• Schedule FSI can be fed from Annexures -> Misc (Others) --> Foreign Assets, List etc --> Foreign Assets.
• Amount entered in IFOS -> Bank Interest (Savings) will be picked as 80TTA in DUC-6A.   (Kindly note that if 80TTA is 0, then only its picked-up, if any correction in IFOS Bank Int.(Savings) is made, see that 80TTA is also 0, so that the NEW figure is picked up)
  
  
  Important NOTES :
• Users are requested to just SAVE once again, the already workedout Annexures before finalising Statement of Income & ITR, as new columns have been added in ITR by the Dept.
• Kindly check the ITR physical form before directly generating XML File, so that missing/incorrect Infos can be found/rectified. 
• Refer topic "How to Update the s/w" under 'Installations' in Help 2013-14, for any Query regarding updation of the s/w.

Utility s/w withdrawn by the Department

Utility s/w from Department's site is withdrawn.

• Users who are using Department's utility for generating XMLs, for Forms like 3CA-3CD, 3CB-3CD etc, are hereby informed that the utility s/w has been withdrawn from the site (reason may be that they are still working/changing the s/w)
  
  This news is released just for your attention.

CompuTax 2013-14 :: update v 2.2

CompuTax 2013 update v 13.*.2.2  released.

• In 2.1 version of Etds s/w, while importing Consolidated File "@ 46 truncate" Error occured,
  because the Consolidated File structure was changed by the Department. This is now fixed.
• In 2.1 version of Etds s/w, Error occured if 2012-13 was selected & in Challan "Rent" was selected. This is now fixed.
  ( Users who want to use eTds for 2012-13 should start CompuTax 2013-14 and then from the File panel given on the right side, should select 2012-13 under "Select Working Year" option and then continue normally.)

CompuTax 2013-14 :: update v 2.1

CompuTax 2013 update v 13.*.2.1  released.

• In 2.0 version the new sections 4IA & 4IB for Form 26Q was inserted as 41A & 41B  by the s/w, is now Rectified.
• In 2.0 version Form 27A was showing zero amount, is now Rectified. Kindly Generate the Fvu again, to get the correct Form 27A.

• Users will now have to feed the TDS section in Deductee module instead of Challan module as done earlier.

• In 1.0 version Error message of "92E" and "NatureOfBusiness" occurs while uploading ITR. Department has changed the Schema & hence this Error. 
• In this version the ERROR is fixed.

• ITR-5 manual Form released.
• ITR-5 xml File for eFiling released.
  (ITR-6 xml File for eFiling not yet released by the Dept)
  
  NOTES :

Download ITR-V enabled as per Dept's New site.

Procedure to download ITR-V & save Acknowledgement details in Master.

Start s/w & Go to Reports --> Return Forms --> Log on to eFiling Portal -->
   When the Dashboard screen comes click on 'Download ITR-V' option.   (this
    will save the Ackowledgement No. & Date in Master and also Ackowledgement
    details will be displayed)

After that, please wait & it will automatically prompt you to 'Open'   OR   'Save'
  options for the ITR-V.pdf :

   if you want to Save it, you may click on 'Save' and SAVE it in the desired location
   if you want to Open it, you may click on 'Open' and when it asks for the password

   just press 'Ctrl-V' and click on 'Ok' button.
